Stereofixx

Stereofixx is an exciting new break beat project, created and produced by Hannah Vasanth, (Keys player for Rhianna) and fronted by the chocolate vocals of Jo Harrop.

Jo says, “I love working with Hannah, she is so very talented and knows how my voice works, so is able to bring out the emotion in the tracks. The tracks are actually well written and deep songs, from the heart, so I can relate to them all and have learned so much working on Stereofixx, I can’t wait to see it come alive on stage.”

Ian Barter And Jo Harrop

“Give It Away”

Give It Away was an album of soul and funk, inspired by Jo’s love of singers such as Minnie Ripperton, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Betty Wright, Rose Royce and other funk soul sisters.

“I loved all the songs I created with Ian Barter, it was a different path I chose to take from the more jazz, pop music I had previously been working on, but I felt very inspired and empowered writing this album, and the title track, ‘Give It Away’ won number one single in the Channel 4 Popworld unsigned charts.”
